Solid quality door furniture. I have fitted one of these below a frelan victorian lever. You will need to buy a bathroom tubular deadbolt to go with it. [tip: you need to measure the distance from the edge of the door to the doorhandle spindle and ensure the deadbolt spindle/door edge dimension matches, this so that the items are aligned vertically. The item is really well engineered and has a solid weighty feel to it. I have purchased 2 and both are ‘true’ in so far as the spindles are at right angles to the face plate. These are quite chunky at just under 5cm diameter, wider than the frelan lever faceplates used in my case. Together they look okay but i would like it better if this item was 40mm in diam and better matched. Not a big deal but you may want to consider. No regrets with my purchase of this quality item. ]

These look great on our new doors, and of course are better than the old inside slide latch. The safety screw on the outside is also very important in case of emergencies. Easy to fit and quality is very good. All in all a very pleased customer.

    This item is very robust and heavy gauge. Much better than many other similar pressed sheet metal alternatives. A good chrome finish looks really modern and smart. It does come with the 5mm square keyway you need too. The only issue was that the recessed square hole for the keyway was not perpendicular to the face of the unit, which meant that it was very difficult to get it lined up. I had to cut the keyway very short to overcome this. Great produce let down by quality control really.
