Great tap but needs regular cleaning, especially on the hinges. Here are the specifications for the GrandTapz(TM) Traditional Ceramic Handles Basin Mixer Tap Including Pop Up Waste (Swan 1):

Good looking taps, easy to fit , came with good quality pop up waste, they have a nice action as you would expect with 1/4 turn taps. Also delivered free in 2 days.

Reviews from purchasers :

  • Grandtapz basin taps
  • Solid, quality item
  • Smaller than expected.

Great product even better price.

I probably should have paid more attention to the dimensions as this wasn’t quite what i expected. However, its well made, was easy to fit and does the job.

These are very smart looking taps. I got them for my bathroom sink and they just make the whole vanity unit look better.

Bought to replace an endlessly dripping (expensive) monobloc mixer tap, this has the ceramic washers that eliminate drips. Identical as far as i can see to the unbranded equivalents in local superstores, at a fraction of the cost (£90 in wickes, £110 in b&q all it lacked was instructions, but installing a tap like this is not rocket science, and the fixtures and attachments were first class. Note: i didn’t install the pop-up waste that came with it, but simply reused the old one. )for amateur plumbers wanting to save themselves a hundred quid or so, all you need is a monobloc spanner, £10 from b&q. It’s a long tubular spanner that slots over the single nut fastening the clamp that holds the tap to the sink. Apart from that, a simple adjustable wrench, and maybe a screwdriver to shut off the connecting pipe valves. It works well, though the tap spray is not as neat and focused as it could be. If i hadn’t had to go out and buy the spanner i would have had the whole job done in two hours, including the cleaning up. (tap was mounted on a sink built into a corner unit – tricky. ) major brownie points from the wife.
