Looks good and operates as expected. I used this to replace my original. The only problem that i had was the bottom thread was slightly shorter than the original one and the sink trap would not seal due to it fouling on the part where the lever attaches. I overcame this by inserting 2 seals into the trap to make up the difference and get a good seal.

Ordered this waste to go with a pair of cambridge basin taps also by ibath. The existing cold tap had failed and the plastic waste was looking worn. So i decided these replacements would bring the basin back to good-as-new. Initially had some issues with getting the waste to seal properly – always easier, i guess, when the basin is new and the waste can be fitted before the basin goes on the wall. A quick search revealed that i was not alone and even the pros can suffer from leaky wastes – slight water trickle down the waste thread. Turns out that b&q sell a plumbsure basin sealer for £1. 98 that can fix problems where basins don’t seal well. In my case i had another go and cleaned-up the previous sealant a bit better. Then i used a more generous application of plumber’s mait – all now water tight.
