The cold tap did not stop the water flow without. The cold tap did not stop the water flow without a lot of effort to turn the tap off. The hot and cold indicators had faded.

    1. Good quality and really nice but did not fit my taps. . Really good quality and a fantastic idea, but did not fit my taps. Thought i could just use the chrome top bit but they didn’t fit my seating valve. I tried replacing the whole lot but my old taps have longer seating valves, so although i replaced the whole lot ok the valves weren’t long enough to shut the water off. Have kept them though as i am sure they will fit the taps in my garage when they need replacing.

    Good quality and really nice but did not fit my taps. . Really good quality and a fantastic idea, but did not fit my taps.     Taps for those of us who love to fiddle. The only problem with the design of the tap mechanism is ideally it needs to be a fraction deeper for some taps. In some case when you shut the tap the hex part holding the washer comes out of the body preventing you from opening as it jams up. Easily corrected by using different type of tap washer so at this price don’t be put off.Have similar design fitted in bathroom and after modifying still look good and work fine nearly ten years on. Grab a box of assorted tap washers when you order and you will be good to sort if needed. Again this may be down to the style of taps fitted in our home, this info is just to make you aware of a possible problem and in no way is a reflection on the quality of these adapters and it certainly will not stop me purchasing again.
